Regional Development Officer Network

The EGU and EWGA have combined their officer networks to become one single team, to support the needs of golf clubs and counties in a more streamlined and effective way.

Through development work that was piloted in several counties, the Regional Development Officers (RDOs) have developed a sound understanding of how to best support the formation of County Golf Partnerships and provide a framework and implementation programme based on the local needs of golf facilities, golfers, volunteers and coaches.

The RDOs assist clubs and counties with a variety of development issues including child protection and equity, funding opportunities, GolfMark, junior golf, development planning, membership structures, school clubs links and volunteer support.  The RDO's also produce 2 newsletters per annum for their region, to download and view previous newsletters click on the links.
