Club Coaching Grant 2010 - 2011

The EGU and EWGA have made available a grant of £600 to GolfMark accredited clubs, to assist them with  their recruitment and retention activities for adults and juniors.  This grant offers financial support and gives golf clubs  the chance to be flexible in their approach to increasing participation in the game and membership at their club.  For details of GolfMark and clubs awarded visit www.golfmark.org

County Golf Partnerships are now working with golf clubs to development the game at local level and along with Development Officers and the EGU/EWGA development team, will be able to offer guidance and advice should it be required.

 In 2009, over 41,000 participants (adults and juniors) nationwide attended one of the 519 golf clubs offering coaching sessions/activities as part of the Club Coaching Grant scheme.  A report detailing the main statistics from the 2009 scheme can be downloaded by clicking on the link opposite.
