Welcome to the EGU Community

The EGU Community is where English golf clubs talk to each other and to their Governing Body, the EGU. It is a simple, free email-based service designed to enable golf clubs to rapidly share information with each other.

The EGU Community also provides a support service to help clubs improve their marketing techniques and effectiveness.
If your golf club needs 1) to devise a marketing plan, 2) to acquire members, 3) to retain members, 4) to increase visitor business 5) to understand marketing techniques such as 6) how to effectively use e-marketing, then the infomation in this section of the website should provide very useful guidance.

Membership of the EGU Community is open to:
- All Clubs Affiliated to the English Golf Union
- All EGU County Secretaries  

"We have a problem - I wonder how other Clubs would solve this?"
Use the EGU Community and you will find out! Simply type your question via this website and we will distribute it to over 1,000 golf clubs. Think of the EGU Community as an open door for communication between you, the EGU and the 1000s of golf club colleagues in England.

To join the EGU Community simply click on the registration link in the left hand menu. When you do this, we will send you a confirmation email and you will start to receive EGU Community emails.  It's that simple!

NOTE: you must register and be a members of the EGU Community before you can access the archived questions and answers.
