Tyneside
One of the most highly ranked courses in the North East. Designed and laid out almost a century ago by world-renowned golf course architect Harry Shapland Colt. The undulating sand-based fairways ensure, not only a test of golf, but also excellent drainage, making Tyneside an all-weather course and playable throughout the year. Tyneside had a very different clubhouse ('Golf Pavilion') - which opened on April 8th 1911.
