The EGU/EWGA will help advertise taster sessions via the Get into Golf website www.getintogolf.org and by sending press releases locally and nationally to local publications and Sports Development Officers within the club's area. Please note: it is at the discretion of the individual publications as to whether they choose to print the press releases, the EGU/EWGA DO NOT pay for this advertising.
Advertising the FREE Golf Coaching taster sessions is vital in attracting beginners to your venue, so it is recommended that the golf club assist the EGU/EWGA in advertising beginners' activities by displaying posters, placing adverts in local publications and inputting details on the clubs website etc.
The press releases issued by the EGU/EWGA will detail all activities being funded by the 2009 Coaching Grant, as detailed above. Please inform the EGU/EWGA immediately if your golf club makes any amends to your chosen activities/sessions and dates.

Grant aid will be paid upon completion of all coaching sessions and once all registration form/s are returned to the EGU/EWGA Development Team.
The grant aid will be paid by the BACS (Bank Automated Clearing Service) facility, which involves making payments directly into your golf club’s bank account. Payments must be made direct into the golf club’s account, the golf club is then able to distribute funds accordingly. A BACS form will be sent in your information pack.
